Installation of Joedan EL75 Windows part glazed with Ceramic panels. AC100 Commercial Doors all in RAL7045 Matt Grey.
Requirement
Located in Nottingham, The Bramcote School is a mixed Secondary School with academy status and is part of a larger campus of schools built in the 1950’s. After successfully securing ACMF funding the school needed to replace single glazed aluminium windows and doors to improve the thermal efficiency performance of the school
Solution
Working in conjunction with the main contractor it was agreed the Joedan EL75 system was most appropriate, due to the system’s overall durability, contemporary design and thermal efficiency values. Espagnolette locking openers with restrictors were used to operate the windows. Manual Teleflex gearing was used where required. Anti sun glazing, ceramic panels and PPC Panels were used where required. AC100 Commercial doors were used for all main entrances to cope with heavy traffic.
Result
Fitted with minimum disruption the school now have fit for purpose windows and doors which are safe, secure and heat efficient creating a much more comfortable learning environment for students and staff alike. Also the appearance of the building has been dramatically improved both inside and out.
