The client wished to make the glass façade the focal point of the project, with the design permitting large numbers of passengers to pass through comfortably.
Solution
The Mayflower Cruise Terminal is one of Southampton’s four main cruise terminals, annually handling tens of thousands of passengers disembarking from the UK. The terminal underwent extensive refurbishment, which included the construction of a new glazed main entrance by Joedan.
