Requirement
Located in the Handsworth area of Birmingham, Oasis Academy, Boulton caters for pupils aged between 4-11. After successfully securing funding, the school needed to replace windows and doors to improve the appearance and thermal efficiency performance of the school.
Solution
Working in conjunction with the client it was agreed the Joedan aluminium system was most appropriate, due to the system’s overall durability, contemporary design and thermal efficiency values. Espagnolette locking handles and Teleflex openers were used to operate the opening vents. AC100 Commercial doors were used for all main entrances top cope with heavy traffic.
Result
Fitted with minimum disruption the school now has fit for purpose windows and doors which are safe, secure and heat efficient creating a comfortable teaching environment for all staff and pupils at the school.
